  • Ukulele class

Come enjoy the sounds of the ukulele, a charming stringed instrument that originated in the 19th century in Hawaii, where the local people combined elements of the small cavaquinho and rajão guitars Portuguese immigrants to the United States brought these two small guitars to Hawaii in the early 20th century. The ukulele became extremely popular outside the United States and has since spread widely. Practice and play often—if you’re a “lion,” you’ll surely meet your match.

  • Happy Sharing to my goal

Let’s come together to share our joy and talk about what we want to do this year by using the latest technology available today. Wow, that’s so cool, kids! It’s really awesome to take on the role of a social media content creator—or, as we commonly know them, YouTubers and TikTokers. Throughout the month of May, we’ve been learning and honing our creative skills in many different areas. Some of us love telling stories, so we’ll practice our storytelling skills and structuring the stories we want to share—we’ll become influencers. • Gardening time

Let’s all come and plant vegetables in the school garden! It’s a simple activity that lets the children connect with nature in the small garden behind the school. But this simple activity becomes extraordinary when each child becomes the owner of their own little vegetable plant and takes on the responsibility of caring for it—helping it grow strong, bloom, and bear fruit—so that its owner can take pride in it. This is the heart of every activity at Samak Think: getting hands-on and drawing on the experience of engaging with everything in a thoughtful and attentive way, paying close attention to every detail—no matter how small. Do these activities often, learn little by little, and find joy in them every day. This is the power of our “7 Wonders of Happiness.”
